Useful Information about Local Support and Advice Services
The Family Outreach website aims to provide parent/carers/young people with useful information on local support and advice services as well as summary information sheets explaining school processes or key documents such as Education, Health and Care Plans, SEND reforms and any other new initiatives or government guidance that may be relevant to parent/carers/young people.
We acknowledge that for many parent/carers whose children are on transport it can be difficult to find out useful information. Not having daily face to face contact with school and other parent/carers can result in our families feeling very isolated. The website provides an opportunity to keep up to date with current news and access useful information. We also hold weekly or monthly activities/coffee mornings at each site to enable parent/carers/families to come together, share, learn new things and have fun. Annual Family Events include: Pamper Evenings and both schools, Halesbury Christmas Fair, Pens Meadow Barn Dance and HalesFest
